This is a very simply system to setup!

1) Take a cork or hot glue and plug the terracotta hole in the pot. (Must be unglazed)

2) Bury the terracotta to the top rim of the pot for maximum soil contact for wicking.

3) Place a plate or other on top to prevent pests and algae.

4) More advanced systems can be put together with automatic fill valves and more. The sky is the limit!
