DIY WORM BIN

WORM TOWER VIDEO TUTORIAL
TOOLS NEEDED

Use the Variable Bit to make the hole for the Worm Tea Spigot. Mine was a 3/4" hole but check yours to make sure as they can vary. Be care to stop the bit carefully so you don't make the hole to large and cause leaks.

Screw spigot screw on with gasket in front and tighten nut.

Now place the lid on the Tea bin and  grab your 2nd tote!!! Drill your base holes in the next tote!!! - These are large holes intended to hold the bedding but allow proper drainage.

Set the 2nd tote that you just drilled out the base holes on top of the lid for the worm tea bin. Rotate the bin around drilling 1/4" holes until no matter what direction it is the bin still has lots of drain holes available for worm access and drainage.

Now take a 1/16" drill bit and drill tiny breather holes all around the top RIM of both WORM Totes but do not drill air holes in the Worm Tea area.

When your Worm Tower is complete it should look like the below photo!!! and should consist of 1 Worm tote with spigot!!! - 2 Worm Feed trays complete with 1/16" breather holes drilled along the top edge and also Several Large Base Holes.

Then the lids of the worm tea tote and the middle tote are drilled out with 1/4" holes for drainage and worm travel access. The top lid has no holes to prevent rain drenching if left outside!!! If inside you can drill breather holes in lid also!!!
